!!! CONSTRUCTION OF PHASE 1 ISLAMIC SCHOOL, YOUTH & COMMUNITY CENTER BUILDING IN FULL SWING - Update as of May 2017 !!!

Alhamdulillah, construction is coming close to finishing the first "Shell" stage:

  • Outside elevation walls up to the roof level
  • Gymnasium walls completed to the roof level
  • Second floor concrete pour completed
  • Outside walls being prepped for doors and windows
  • Roof steel work to begin soon

Insha Allah work on finish the building shell should complete by early July 2017. With the Ramadan 2017 Construction Fundraiser, we are ready to catapult the project into the second "Finishing" stage, which will begin work on finishing the interior spaces for use and occupancy.

Here is an awe inspiring drone video of the construction as of May 2017:

Brothers & Sisters, the approx. 45,000+ sq-ft Islamic School, Youth, and Community Center building will not only provide us with much needed space for large prayer services (Jummah & Eid salah) but will also add new and well commissioned facilities for educational, athletic, and social activities. Note that our goal is to obtain approval for a full time elementary level school also. The building will be built in two stages. First stage of the contract is for constructing the “shell” – everything structural and complete building from the outside. Second stage of the contract will start finishing the interior spaces ending in use and occupancy permit. First stage is planned to be finished June/July 2017, insha Allah. With the construction in full swing, we now need to make sure that we raise funds faster than ever to continue meeting our payments schedule as well as continuing work into the finishing stage without any stoppage insha Allah. Every dua' and every dollar counts. Please take a moment to make a quick donation by clicking on this link: https://www.icomd.org/app/cc/ccp_fundsselection.asp.

Please click on this link ICM-Master-Plan-Road-Map to have a quick and user-friendly view of the ICM Master Plan Implementation Road Map.

Implementing our Master Plan in phases provides us with the ability to add Phase-1 building without demolishing any of the existing buildings. Insha Allah, Phase-2 will see a new Masjid constructed that will require us to demolish all existing buildings. Having Phase-1 building available at that time will give us the required space to continue our operations without interruption.
